Clarify your skin by washing your face daily. Use cleansing products that are au natural and chemical free. Don’t use deodorant soap on your face (guys tend to do that!) as it may irritate your skin and will clog your pores because the soap contain harsh ingredients.
Exfoliation is essential for flawless, glowing skin. A good scrub will remove dead cells and smooth the surface of your skin. A jojoba based scrub won’t tear the skin and also produces immediate results. Exfoliate to reveal gorgeous skin!
When you spend a lot of time outside, environmental debris and pollutants are contributing factors to your skin’s health. Toning helps to keep your face clear and firm. As skin ages, it needs to work harder to maintain its elasticity. Astringents and toners with glycolic or alpha hydroxyl acids work best. These acids usually reduce the pore size and help to avoid ingrown hairs.
Apply a light moisturiser on your face after cleansing and shaving. It is important to hydrate all areas of your skin, especially the sensitive under eye area as it is one of the first areas that shows the signs of aging.
Avoid Skin Cancer
Apply sunscreen with a sun protection factor (SPF) of 15 or greater 30 minutes before sun exposure. Select contact lenses which provide 100% automatic UV protection. Think of your lenses as sunscreen for the eyes. These should be included in your overall skin cancer protection regimen. The peak hour for UV radiation is between 10am and 3pm, so avoid direct sun exposure between those times.
