Most couples know about the tradition of love locks overseas. This Valentine’s, you can also lock your love away forever at Singapore’s very own designated “Locks of Love” space, located just outside Clarke Quay Central. Take a quiet saunter along the walkway facing the Singapore River, before the two of you proceed to pledge your love for each other by affixing a padlock onto the grille with your names or initials inscribed on it. There is also a 3.4m high heart-shaped structure that you can put your locks on. Remember to throw the key away after you are done to symbolise unbreakable love. You can even think of creative things to lock away (e.g. love letters, pictures).
