You perhaps first saw her on Season 2 of television reality show Project Runway in 2002.
Then, Heidi Elnora had just graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design and was designing children’s wear in Atlanta. She auditioned and was selected to be on the popular reality show which featured aspiring designers battling it out. Four years later, Heidi decided it was time to make the switch and realize her dream to design wedding gowns.
Aside from polished lines and attention to details, Heidi’s gowns are entirely handmade by garment artisans in Alabama. This emphasis on handmade details are what makes her gowns so special. For Fall 2014, Heidi has released a brand new collection named “Opera”. This collection, inspired by a trip to Paris, is meant to make a bride feel whimsical and young at heart.
The “Elle Hemmingway” dress features a scoop neckline and an open-back design. For brides who wish to exude a sophisticated sexy allure.
The “Clara Louise” piece is a personal favorite. Garnished with sparkle lace applique and a tulle fit-to-flare skirt, this is definitely a dress to have for brides who wish to channel an elegant look.
Featuring a fishtail design, the “Georgia Bourgeois” gown shines with an off-shoulder design.
Never too boring, the “Sophie Skirt” is a darling with its hand-made organza lace handkerchief details at the bottom.
For unconventional brides who favor short dresses, this “Leona May” piece is a svelte piece that will flatter your curves with a v-front neckline and a deeper v-line at the back. Beaded leaf-designs add details to the dress.
