Today we shine the spotlight on another young French designer whom we love for her easy bohemian wedding dresses — Laure De Sagazan.
Based in Paris, Laure De Sagazan had only just set up her label in these couple of years, after she made a dress for a cousin that received such good reception that it surprised the designer herself. With the boost of confidence, Laure De Sagazan took the plunge to start up her own bridal atelier, designing dresses for the unconventional bride who, like her, is not a fan of traditional wedding dresses that are “dripping in frills and satin”.
Laure De Sagazan’s dresses would definitely strike a chord with brides who appreciate comfort and do not believe in “suffering for beauty”. Be it dresses or tailored separates, Laure De Sagazan’s collection consists a number of versatile pieces that encourage brides to create their own styles. While the look is easy and unpretentious, one needs no reminder of their quality, as they are crafted from fine French lace and look luxurious to the touch. Most pieces also reflect Laure De Sagazan’s slight rock-and-roll aesthetic on bridal fashion with flowing silhouettes contrasted against structured lines.
