How to mimic a rustic vintage wedding

Viewers of American TV drama “Grimm” would perhaps have a love-hate relationship with actress Claire Coffee, who plays alluring villainess Adalind Schade but we can’t help but put the spotlight on her for this post as the 33-year-old actress wed in an intimate vintage wedding to two-and-a-half-year beau, Chris Thile, at the end of last December.

The small and family-oriented wedding affair, which reportedly had 20 guests in attendance, took place at Blackberry Farm, a rustic resort in Tennessee, United States, which is also coincidentally the same place singer Kelly Clarkson got married last year! On choosing the venue, Claire said, “It’s our favorite place to vacation and one of the best places on earth. We wanted something intimate and earthy (as well)”

While the natural settings at the farm added rustic charm to the lovely affair, any vintage-inspired wedding wouldn’t be complete if without a vintage wedding dress.

On the bride, is a stunning 76-year-old vintage lace wedding gown which Claire purchased alongside her vintage veil at Xtabay Vintage Bridal Salon in Portland where the shooting for ‘Grimm’ is. On the groom, according to PEOPLE magazine, is a smart dark brown wool suit custom made by Against Nature in New York. Congrats to the couple!
