Just Married: Christina Ricci & Rose McGowan

The past week seems like a great week at Hollywood with the marriages of two beautiful young actresses — Christina Ricci and Rose McGowan. Wedding & Travel brings you a glimpse of their wedding gowns and some small tidbits on their weddings.

Christina Ricci tied the knot with camera technician James Heerdegen in an intimate evening wedding in New York at the luxurious Harold Pratt house & Peterson Hall at Park Avenue. The venue is apparently a town house that dates from the 1920s, and is currently used as the headquarters of the Council on foreign relations. Keeping it classy and simple, the couple’s wedding was an understated event with cocktails, dinner and dancing.

If you’re thinking that Christina Ricci’s wedding dress looks absolutely unique and stunning, here’s why — instead of the usual big-name labels, Christina Ricci chose to work with “an unknown designer” who is a close friend of hers (according to her Interview with Life & Style in May 2013) to create this one-of-a-kind dress. We think the high-neck design and cut-out details on the arms are what make this gown particularly special! The piece was immaculately crafted with white silk and tulle, and featured Chantilly lace applique, micro pearl embroidery and satin piping. To top off the look, Christina Ricci had a tulle veil.

2. Rose McGowan

Rose McGowan, most famous for her role in TV sitcom Charmed, married artist Davey Detail last week in a romantic outdoor wedding in the company of 60 loved ones.

For her wedding dress, Rose McGowan picked a timeless strapless lace and tulle piece from Monique Lhullier. With a fitted corset bustier, floor-length train, paired with a chapel veil, we can only say that this was definitely an effortlessly elegant and chic wedding look for Rose McGowan!

The couple reportedly jetted off to the Maldives for their honeymoon, and had a ball of a time learning diving.

Congratulations to Christina Ricci and Rose McGowan!
