There is a reason why we love English actress Keira Knightley. The ‘Pride and Prejudice’ and ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ star not only proved that she has acting chops in both commercial and indie films, but also enough fashion taste to recycle a dress in three different public occasions, in which one was her wedding.
Bucking Hollywood norm to turn up at public events in ludicrously expensive outfits that are given the limelight only once, it’s definitely nice to see an A-lister with a down-to-earth approach to red carpet dressing. We are even more delighted to see the versatility of this mid-length ivory tulle off-shoulder dress, costing £10,000 from Chanel’s 2006 Spring/Summer Haute Couture Collection.
Kiera’s 3 looks in 1 dress: 1. Punk Casual: The Chanel number was first caught on film in 2008 at a BAFTA Awards Dinner in London. Knightley’s style for the night was simplicity at its best, with no jewellery or other accessories but simply pairing her frock with black pumps and tights.

2. Blissful: The slender actress with her husband, James Righton, wed in a low-key ceremony held in the south of France earlier in May this year. She can be seen here in the ivory number for the second time, with a cropped Chanel Jacket, a daisy-chain garland atop her brown tresses and a pair of flats. Yes, you saw that right. Apart from recycling a gown she had in her wardrobe for 5 years now, she also ditched another so-called essential for brides, heels that is.
3. Chic Elegance: The actress looking absolutely radiant as she reworked her favorite gown by pairing it with an embellished long-sleeved sheer top for a charity gala earlier this month (Dec-3) which she attended with her husband. Her kicks for the night were a pair of gold Jimmy Choo sandals.
