After her romantic wedding in Bali, Taiwanese singer-actress Vivian Hsu and her husband proceeded with their wedding banquet in Taipei yesterday. The event was undeterred by Typhoon Matmo, which had caused the closure of schools and offices across Taiwan for the day.
Dressed in pink strapless Vera Wang wedding dress, pearl necklace and ring, the 39-year-old Hsu fielded questions from the press in a photo call before the banquet. She denied rumors that she is pregnant, but said she hopes to have a baby boy in the future, as she already has two step-daughters from her husband’s previous marriage.
As compared to the low-key registration ceremony in Singapore and wedding in Bali, the Taipei wedding had a star-studded guest list including Taiwanese model-actress Lin Chi-ling and actress Shu Qi.
According to Taiwan media, each table was decorated with white roses and given the name of a song by Hsu. Small gifts and cards bearing a picture of the couple were also presented to each guest. Hsu’s husband, Singaporean businessman Sean Lee, is chief executive officer of Marco Polo Marine, a Singapore-based integrated marine logistics group.
