A wedding can be an experience that cements the couple together, infusing the union with fond memories to cherish.
When Kenneth and Jesline planned their wedding, they were motivated by the thought that their guests would remember them as they were on their wedding day. As such, they were resolute in having the most memorable wedding they could create.
Suit & Gown
Jesline came dressed in a stunning ivory gown laced with intricate embroidery and beads by Ted Wu, hinting at her Peranakan heritage. Kenneth was all spruced up in a cream-coloured linen suit to complement the ivory theme, and had a little cinnamon stick pinned to his jacket in place of a normal corsage.
Symbols of Love

The couple designed the motif of a 'K' and 'J' that stands boldly amidst a design of leaves and placed that on every wedding item, from invitation cards, guest list holders and ‘ang bao’ books. Most captivating of all is the ring tray ornamented with fabric and pearls, and two rings lipped into the stamens of calla lilies.
The Cosy Chapel
Guests turned up for the wedding at the Church of the Holy Spirit and were stunned by the remake of the church. White lilies were the main focus of the theme and they were luxuriously used throughout. Together with ivy leaves and ferns, the chapel was cast in an elegant sea of white and green. The reception was held at the Church's attic, which was decorated with satin by the couple and their friends.
A Merry Sing n' Dance-along
Some danced to the music by the 3-man jazz band, headed by Kenneth's uncle, while others sang merrily ahead. The highlight, however, went to Kenneth's mother, who dazzled the guests with an entourage of thirty Nyonyas in colourful kebayas, performing a series of Peranakan songs.
